CULLODEN : 1746
National Trust for Scotland
We were appointed as Business Planners, Interpretive Planners and Creative Content Managers for the development of a new visitor centre and interpreted landscape at the Battlefield of Culloden, Drummossie Moor, Inverness. The work led to a complete re-appraisal of the battlefield site, including its specific location, and the dispelling of a number of myths that had arisen since 1746. The business plan led directly to the award of £6m from the Scottish Office which, when added to the funds from the EU and the NTS, funded the capital works completely.
