In 2008, we were appointed as lead consultant for the development of the new Saxon King Museum in Southend, a catalyst project in the overall regeneration of the town centre. Our work involved the production of an Options Appraisal, Technical Feasibility Study of several potential sites in the town centre and the Business Plan for the project which entailed intensive stakeholder consultation.

The new £30m building will combine the collections of the Southend Museum and the Beecroft Art Gallery and feature the treasures discovered during recent excavations of an Anglo Saxon burial chamber at nearby Prittlewell.
