SEA CITY MUSEUM - Southampton Civic Centre

Southampton City Council

  • Business plan
  • Fundraising strategy

Following our successful work on the Tudor House project (which was awarded HLF funding based on our business plan) we were appointed, in 2009, to produce a business plan for the new Sea City Museum project to support the City’s Round 2 Application to the HLF. The project involved the conversion of the Magistrates’ Courts in the West Wing of Southampton Civic Centre into a nationally important visitor attraction, showcasing the city’s archaeology and heritage collections.

The £28m project is to be delivered in two phases, the first of which was a £15m investment which opened in April 2012, the centenary of the sinking of RMS Titanic.
