Founded in 1995, Cultural Heritage without Borders (CHwB) is a non-governmental heritage organisation based in Stockholm and funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA). Through its regional offices in the Balkans (Sarajevo, Pristina, Tirana and Gjirokastra) CHwB works to safeguard cultural heritage as part of its work on inclusion, conflict reconciliation, infrastructure restoration and capacity building in areas that have experienced dictatorship or war.

Working hands-on in the Balkans with architects, government agencies and NGOs, Our role is to contribute to these aims by providing expert advice on strategic planning in cultural heritage development including business planning, cultural tourism, interpretation and building the capacity of the Balkan Museums Network.
