We were commissioned by Craven District Council to consider the future strategy for Skipton Museum in ways that would increase visitor numbers, improve service delivery, deliver new ways of generating income, develop partnership opportunities (including community groups) and to express the outcomes by way of five year business plan and a fully developed project plan and timetable including marketing and fund raising opportunities.

The outcomes of this work are now being delivered at the museum by way of re-energised exhibition spaces, commercial lettings, the creation of ‘Studio 1’ in the main hall as an arts and special exhibitions venue and the reconfiguration of all the museum’s public spaces.
